About Me
I grew up as a creative, high-energy child in small Northeast Georgia town. College took me to a slightly bigger town, where I made lifelong friendships and discovered a newfound confidence. The summer before my senior year, I interned at a graphic design firm in Australia, an unforgettable experience that further fueled my creativity even further.
After graduating, I worked various jobs until connecting with entrepreneur and celebrity chef Abby Jackson, where I assisted with everything from photography and website management to tilling the gardens. When she couldn’t offer the role I deserved, she introduced me to the Habersham County Chamber of Commerce. As their marketing and communications assistant, I hit the ground running, building relationships with hundreds of local businesses and honing my skills in branding and community engagement. My passion for creative problem-solving led me to assist other local organizations, and a chance to serve on the Cornelia Vision Committee and the Economic Development Council.

Eventually, as I began to outgrow my role with the Chamber of Commerce, a local credit union's board of directors found my work and created their first ever marketing role for me. While I continued leading the Young Professionals group and supporting other local organizations, I began building North Main Credit Union's brand image from the ground up. I created a social media presence, fostered business connections and created new ways to celebrate and educate the members and our community. After only a year and a half investing in this role, our board of directors made the decision to merge with a much larger credit union based in Atlanta, Georgia. It was extremely difficult for me to let go of the brand I had poured my heart into, but I knew it was time to grow.
The executive directors determined I was the perfect candidate to lead their Foundation. The Georgia United Credit Union Foundation is the 501(c)3 charitable arm of the credit union. Though I have had plenty of great experiences in this role, I have realized this position does not align with my true passion, brand development and creative design. I have always needed to express my creativity. Outside of my daily job, I founded Studio Haven—a space where I channel my love for creative business development, helping others with graphic design and website projects. When I'm not working, I’m usually fly-fishing, painting, baking, or exploring new places. I thrive on new experiences and love making memories with the people who matter most.
