2022 Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year
After many hours of dedication, I was named the 2022 Ambassador of the Year by the Habersham County Chamber of Commerce. I continued to spread awareness of the Chamber's products/services to make a positive difference within the community we serve.

Habersham Young Professionals Group
I served as the Young Professional Group's Chairman and Marketing Chair. I spent many months building a board for this group that consists of 8 members. The Young Professionals Group is dedicated to the promotion and development of young professionals between the ages of 21-39 in the workplace. The mission is to engage and cultivate talented young professionals by connecting them with their peers and providing opportunities to maximize their potential, gain visibility and give back to the community.

Habersham County Historical Society
I served as a member of the Historical Society which was established 1973 by local residents, dedicated to the preservation of our county's history.

They provide resources to credit unions at the local level and between credit unions themselves. The purpose of a chapter is to: support the growth of credit unions, promote cooperation and networking among credit unions, and promote and support the LSCU & Affiliates

Leadership Habersham
Participants learn about Habersham’s government; social services, civic organizations and community programs; education; healthcare; and Habersham’s legal and political structure. They take field trips to the county’s businesses and industries and get a behind-the-scenes look at these companies. They “see” economic development and create lifetime bonds with fellow participants.

Economic Development Council
The EDC provides accurate and relevant information fast as the trusted, single point of contact for the economic development process in Habersham County. I was recently hired to assist and implement marketing, event planning, and create lasting relationships with clients and board members.

City of Cornelia's Vision Committee
The Cornelia Vision Committee is a group of business owners, property owners, residents, and the “movers and shakers” of the city. This group discusses opportunities, threats, weaknesses, and strengths in order to plan achievable goals and objectives over the next few years to create and achieve a sustainable community.

Habersham County Kiwanis Club
The Cornelia Club is only one part of Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one community and one child at a time. The sole mission of the Cornelia Kiwanis Club is to serve the youth of Habersham County through special projects and fundraising.

Workforce Development Committee
The Workforce Development Committee is a subcommittee of the EDC. It provides an opportunity for employers to find and keep the right workers with the right skills. We connect our clients with our partners in K-12, technical college and higher education to attract and keep skilled workers.
EVENTS

1st Annual Topgolf Fundraiser
I successfully planned and lead the efforts to create Georgia United Credit Union Foundation's first-ever fundraiser event. Over 150 employees and other credit union associates joined together to enjoy a night full of fun, and we raised over $45,000. The event was planned meticulously, and I was thrilled with the outcome.

43rd Annual Meeting
Each member had an opportunity to visit one of five tables with their "passport". Our employees educated them on different products and services offered at our institution such as loans, online banking, checking and savings accounts. To show our support for Local Businesses, $1,000 of gift certificates were purchased and given to the winning members.

International Credit Union Day
Members were invited to visit our office and celebrate International Credit Union Day. Each member in attendance was given the chance to win $500 cash. Our theme "Kickoff Your Financial Future" encouraged members to explore different opportunities within our institution to improve their financial future. Our staff served boiled peanuts, popcorn, and soft drinks.
CAMPAIGNS

Visit Habersham
I volunteered to partner with our community in their efforts to launch a new tourism campaign. I was featured in many magazines, videos, and social posts. The "My Mountain Moment" campaign successfully launched in 2022 and the feature video was awarded the 43rd Annual Gold Telly. View the video here.

SPLOST Campaign
SPLOST is a one percent option sales tax used to fund capital outlay projects proposed by Habersham County and its seven municipalities. Before the 2020 November Election, I was asked to create a marketing plan and brand book to promote the benefits of SPLOST. It was approved by 76% of voters.

Keep It Local Campaign
During the 2020 COVID-19 shutdown, many small businesses were struggling to stay open. I designed a t-shirt for customers to order and donate a percentage of their purchase to any business. After selling hundreds of shirts, I delivered a check to each business. Over $7,000 was given back to the community.
VOLUNTEERING
I have always had a passion for spreading kindness and improving any situation or organization I have the opportunity to help. I spent many hours organizing events and personally volunteering with various organizations in hopes of improving my community. When I accepted my leadership role with the Habersham County Young Professionals Group, I began introducing volunteer opportunities for the members and a chance for local organizations to advertise within our Young Professionals Community.
